Hacking 2DS + Flashcardtimewarp + MSET = DS profile exploit?

I'd like to but it would be best if it was someone who has done that kind of thing before At least we know that there are a lot of us who have 2DS' and want an offline exploit.

A lot of people over on max console have been trying to get it working on their o3ds/2ds but at the very least i would like to see an updated rxTools with compatability for it which i don't think would take too long if the offsets are already known

IKR? The N3DS gets attention because its "new" but the 2DS doesn't? You'd think that the 2DS was a priority as well....

The N3DS has better hardware and more features and is the only way of playing XC3D and possibly other future games. The 2DS is just a crippled budget version of the standard 3DS and has nothing unique to it. I can see why they would give priority to the former.

it is not 3ds specific. if gw support 7.0 (old) 3ds, then 2ds will also be supported.

I've downgraded my settings app using rxTools and tried the installing the mset expoit using this tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/rxtools-with-signatures-patched-out.390607/page-54#post-5535739

But when I open the DS Profile menu, it just goes through and show the real settings and instead of triggering the exploit.

I also installed the flashcardtimewarp to the sysnand but when I try to open the Blue Gatewaycard, it just shows a black screen with "An error has occurred..." message.

Anyone can confirm booting using mset with the 2DS?

Yes but with cakes cfw only.

I think it works with 9.0-9.2 and 4.x on old3ds. (but not in between)
GW has this same 9.x mset thing for N3DS only, rxtools does not support it at all.
