Homebrew 2ds a9lh troubles

I am following the pl guide and where is says to install safea9lhinstaller by going to dukesrg website. it says loading arm11.bin but the guide doesnt supply arm9 or 11 files and flashed then it locks up. do i need to find them? I tried everything else including running opthelper and going ahead and getting both opt.bin's and running checks on them. Just having troubles getting the installer to work. tried my router and phone tether both with no success.....almost 30 times.

Assuming you've downgraded to 2.1.0-4 already: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/installing-arm9loaderhax

Did you actually download all of the required files and copy them to the SD card? arm9.bin and arm11.bin are part of the SafeA9LHInstaller package.

Are you using this new guide ?
I have a 2DS and I had no problems :-/

yes i was using that guide. I ended up getting it to load on boot to take care of the problem. Running great. Thank you guys for the help. Going to start on my daughters tonight
