QUESTION 1: The Touch-Pad

So I'm not too sure how to adjust the sensitivity of this friggin' thing but, When I try to go to mouse settings and options, it just shows the settings as if I had an ACTUAL mouse. Now, I do have a USB Mouse but when it's not in use (someone else using it for example) I'd like to be able to adjust my touch-pad so it doesn't go nuts on me and click everything I scroll across. I'm running Windows 7, anybody know how to do this?

QUESTION 2: USB Mouse turns on, doesn't work.

One day, my girlfriend told me our cheap USB Mouse just randomly stopped working. Now, the red light below turns on (the laser thingy) but the cursor doesn't move and you get this error:

But it just happened out of nowhere, the mouse didn't fall, my girlfriend was just in the middle of using it and it just STOPPED. Any idea?

Thanks guuyyyzzz

The first one: download the drivers for it.
Second one: Dunno it probably broke out of nothing..

it should show like this in windows 7

if not then then you dont have the touchpad driver / software installed
windows update should find the correct drivers (make sure to select search for other updates instead of just microsoft products) or you can just get them at the synaptics site http://www.synaptics.com/solutions/products/touchpad (I assume you have that one anyway)

as far as the mouse goes
try plugging in into a different computer, if it does the same thing then its broken and nothing you can really do about it
just buy another one as they are pretty cheap
or it might be the usb port, try a different one

It worked, and I Feel stupid that all of my questions are purely just about drivers because I'm too dumb to just look it up myself.

Oh, that mouse thing can be the usb-port conflicting with the mouse, try another usb-port!

It happens to me a lot of times, if something stops working, I just swap the ports with something else and both works
