Can you use roms somehow on the ds, ds lite, and/or dsi?

Can you somehow use the save data from the rom for your ds/lite and/or dsi?

What "roms"? There's a LOT of roms.

I think he/she is trying to say that can you load roms straight from the DS/DSi... The answer is no... Not unless you own a flashcart, or play DSiware on a DSi... However investing in a flashcartridge is not a bad idea at all, media centers, backups, homebrew there's a lot you can do...

How the heck do you put the rom or even connect the DS, DS lite to your PC? (without using a flashcart).

i do think he meant the carts?, no the carts are read only so your save file cannot be rewritten to your flash cart

woops sorry i mean game cart , yeah. you cannot put your save on your flashcart (without the memory card)

Let me answer this.
1- if your asking just plain old roms on a regular ds/l/i, then No. If your asking flashcart, Yes.
2- same answer as #1
