2-disk games not working? (badupdate)

I'm sure we're all well aware of badupdate by now, but i've been meaning to ask about something for a little while now.
Most comercial games i try to run through badupdate work fine, so long as they're single disk releases. Games that may need to install data from a disk before booting don't seem to work. So far I've tried both MGS phantom pain and aliens and neither of them work, but in different manners.
Phantom pain just crashes my system all together, regardless of whether i boot it from XEXmenu or Aurora. While Aliens boots and then tells me to pick a storage device for the installation, only to then not give me the prompt to actually pick a device.
Anyone know how i can get either of these two running?

The only 2 disc game ive played with bad update is gta v. You have to copy the contents of the disc 1 installation directly to the internal hard drive and then run the xex of the disc 2 from the hard drive or a flash drive. Maybe those games work in a similar manner?

Ok, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I moved the file containing the install disk to internal storage and tried to boot disk 2.
It gave me the same "install data from disk 1 first" message. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Is there any tutorial or instructions i can follow to make sure i didn't screw up at some point?

Did you ever get it working for those of us who are in the same situation...and if so how did you get it to work and where did you copy the install disc to on the hdd?

gta5 . copy contend folder from dvd2 to hdd and run the game from dvd1 xex.
