How's the framerate on a flashed GBA cart?

In my opinion... framerates like GTA Advance is choppy... So if it performs at the framerate of GTA Advance, it's shitty framerate will cause me to curse when I can't drive w/ the choppiness...

Looks much better than the first.
And about EA Games in general... Am I the only one who thinks all their menu are crap?

In every EA games be it PC, PS or anything. i just feel that the menu and interface is counter intuitive and just plain badly done. The games in themselves are good most of the time but the menus i just dont like em.

It's much easier to see most turns (still a few problems on some), but I'm finding the control to be sluggish. I have a harder time controlling the car than I did in the first game.

i dunno 'bout u guys, but i had a blast playing The Lord of The Rings Two Towers and Return of the King. Both games are EA games.

As for this game... choppiness abound... Once you speed up and begin moving fast... you'll b watching slide show.... ..... ..... ok, maybe that's exageration, but it's bad...

Hey this game is pretty damn good!
ohmy.gif
the first one was a little bit lacking but this one is great! Playing it on an emulator isn't doing it justice, it works much better (without slickers and such) on actual hardware. Also I advise you go into options and change the camera to bumper, I think it plays much better from that view. Great game, I'll be playing it for a while. I'm very impressed at how pocketeers advanced over the original Underground.

lil history -
the best NFS was NFS2: Hot persuit
or however u spell it
then the rest sucked big time..
untill Underground came on the PC/PS2/XBOX/WhATEVER
and it KICKED ASS...except on the gba..
cuz underground on the gba sucked ass for some lame reason..
then came underground 2 on the PC - IT ROCKS!
PS2- ROCKS
XBOX- ROCKS
GBA- SUCKS but better then the 1st game on the gba

so heres the conclusion -
it sucks jackshit... get the pc/ps2/xbox version

(hihi, I just couldn't resist...sorry)

Anyway I really really really really am VERY excited! I hope we all will be playing this one as one happy family and thinking of the great people who brought us this.

Gambia, The
guys, why don't you just play the better game, Top Gear Rally Advance?

you don't have to play NFSU2 just because it's from EA and because everything from EA is cool, nobody hurts you if you play one of the many better GBA racing games

I doubt that any sane individual here on this board will play a game because it's manufacturer is 'cool'. This isn't about Nike or O'neil...it's about finding racing games that deliver sense of speed and realistic car handling, and although Top Gear Rally didn't look bad, the car handling was total and utter crappiness!

Wow... They've done it again. This game rocks. In My Opinion, the first NFSU for GBA was very well done, with the exception of the corner visability issue. Now they've fixed that issue and kept everything else that was great about this game. Very good job pocketeers/ea... you have made the ultimate GBA 3d racer... this is my offical #1 GBA racer... next to V-Rally 3 (my long time favorite).

I've played it around an hour, and it seems really great... You can now see the corners much better, and those with keen eyes will even find shortcuts in this one. I also like the points system, makes you have to really choose what you want, and I also like the fact that appearance changes are free; I wouldn't pay for appearance tweaks unless all performance-related stuff was already bought, unless it added style multipliers like in NFSU1 . There are also some minigames, which have very little to do with racing, but their addition still adds some more depth to the game. And in the Bonus "races" in the underground mode, you'll have some goals to reach in the minigames, and reaching them will unlock the bonuses for performance options.

So far, so good!
