Hacking 128mb gamecube error

Hi all,

I recently bought two 128mb third party gamecube mem cards.

All was going good until I attempted to upload saves past the 1024 block mark. The instant I surpass this the card immediately errors and the only thing I can do is format the card and start over?

Both cards do the exact same thing. How do I fix this?

they might be fake cards with only 1024 blocks
