Hardware 128gb probloms?

Hello. I have read in a few places that using a 128gb sd card can make the 3ds take between 30 and 60 seconds just to load the home screen while exiting a game. is this true? can someone provide a link to the best thing to use to format a sd card to fat32?

I used GodMode9 to format my SD card....

On windows, it gives you the option to format the SD card if you right click on it I think.

You're unlikely to experience any significant issues. I recommend this tool to format your SD card as FAT32. I also recommend you uncheck the Quick Format option.

larger sd cards usually over 64gb will slow down load times because the system has load a lot more system titles

No, it's because the way the 3DS looks into SD cards isn't the best. Similar problems happened on the Wii, where loading the SD menu or streaming music for mods could be slowed down/stutter with a large enough SD card.

what is quick format? why not use it?

A quick format won't check for bad sectors. To avoid problems in the future, it's a good idea to do a full format.

Not a big fan of using the larger cards (because it takes time to load stuff). I've been using a 128 gb on my o3DS for ages (it's cheap and easy), but it does affect the loading time a bit.
