is there a guide or stickie here explaining the 1.50 kernel - particularly the 1.50 add-on for cfw 5.00m33-6 (phat)?

on the basic level, i don't understand the distinction betw the (ms0:/PSP/) GAME150, GAME5xx and GAME folders. I don't understand prx files (add-ons and patches?). on most occasions, me not understanding fully doesn't stop me from running homebrew apps, but there are occasions where i get confused...

i have just installed iRshell onto the Phat and its got some options regarding 1.50 kernel but i am lost there.

also, is there a good guide to explain the file/folder structure of the PSP ms0:/ (root of memstick, etc.)?

Merry Xmas everyone!

1.50 kernel... Is the 1.50 OFW kernel, you can only install it on M33 i believe.
It lets you play 1.50 homebrew (though mostly homebrew doesn't need it)

I forgot where to download it, though when installing it un-installs stuff off your PSP
I remember the freeplayer and some Japanese text I think.

GAME150 is the folder you put 1.50 homebrew in, so for you it would be IRShell, though IRshell can run without the 1.50 kernel, so you don't need it much
