Hacking 1.1 and 1.4 Install Speed

I was wondering if any coders have looked at the difference in the code from 1.1 to 1.4 to see what the difference is in the install game code to hard drive to see what the difference is.

Is 1.1 faster than 1.4? I didn't have my hard drive working before 1.4 came out so I was unable to try.

I just tested Ultimate V6.7 (v1.1) and it definitely rips games faster than Ultimate V6.7 (v1.4). My original of the Simpsons game (2.54gb) was backed up in 7:33, usually on the v1.4 version it would take about 15-20 mins for 2.5gb.

That is what I have read in the forums. I used 1.1 to backup my games at it was pretty fast. I have not tried 1.4 as of yet.

dont even bother trying to install using 1.4 its fucking terrible.

1.1 is MUUUUUUUUUUUCH fasster att installing then 1.4 is i got my drive yesterday and was using 1.4 to rip games took 3+ hours to rip ssbb
now using 1.1 and 4gig games take 1/2 hour max.

I backed up my copy of Metroid Prime 3 on 1.1, took about 20 minutes. Then I had to reformat the HDD so I installed 1.4 and tried to back up again. It said it would take about 1 hour, although it never finished, got stuck at 94%.
Come on Waninkoko, we need a fix!
