    If these are really voltage regulators then they sure provide different supply voltages on this board, e.g. 12V, 5V, 3.3V etc. which is quite common for a prototyping board. But they don't need to be voltage regulators at all, could be any other IC in this kind of package... But i think it's...

    You don't get it, do you? It's NOT about the screen being upside down, it's about the 3DS running at all, with his RAM tracing attached (which you can see in other pictures).

    why would you want to do that, jpegs show up on the 3ds album already plus you can't magically transform a 2D jpeg in a 3D mpo. But if you have two jpegs, one for the left eye, one for the right eye, you can convert them into a 3d mpo file. This was already possible before the 3ds was released.
