Gaming Rock Band 3 DLC -> SD card error

That's unfortunate. Although I ran the syscheck anyway and the results are kind of weird. While running the check it suddenly flashed back to the Bootmii menu, and when I checked the file on my SD card it's only 10 lines long. Even if it's unrelated I should look into that as well.

Gaming Rock Band 3 DLC -> SD card error

I forgot to mention. When I redownloaded the song just now, I had moved everything into a separate folder and left the root of the SD card blank except for that folder. Not the same as formating the SD card, so I could still try that, but the error still appeared. (It produced a new "private"...

Gaming Rock Band 3 DLC -> SD card error

Just now I copied my save file to the SD card, deleted all Rock Band save data and DLC data from the system memory, and booted up the game. It recognized the songs that I had marked "purchased" and I redownloaded Still Alive. Refused to copy to SD card, then when I tried to run it it said that...

Gaming Rock Band 3 DLC -> SD card error

I'm only trying to this to work with the free tracks, Still Alive and the RB2 free DLC. I've tried deleting them off the Wii memory and redownloading them, but they still refuse to be copied to the SD card.

Gaming Rock Band 3 DLC -> SD card error

I downloaded some songs in Rock Band 3 and had no problems playing them directly off the Wii memory. However whenever I load the game it prompts me to backup the DLC onto the SD card. When it tries to do so it gives an error message. It's also given me a message along the lines of, "add on...

Hacking Hacking Naruto: Clash of Ninja games...

Interesting. Texture hacks are always cool, and I love the Gekitou Ninja Taisen series. I'd be more interested in miraculously importing characters from Clash of Ninja 2 into the Japanese version thus raising the roster to some 70+ characters, but I'm sure that's much more complicated than I...

    Hacking 2 questions

I've added some game channel forwarders to the Wii menu because they look awesome, but only from my own region (NTSC). I want to add some channels from Japanese games, and I'm not sure if doing that will kill my Wii or not. On a related note, I have both Bootmii and Preloader installed on my...

    Hacking Formatting with USB loader

This is really annoying because I can't find anything on this anywhere... It should let me format one of the partitions, and I'm not seeing any errors or anything. EDIT: never mind, I figured it out. Have to use a program on Windows. I'm an idiot.

    Hacking Formatting with USB loader

I'm using a Western Digital 320 GB USB drive, which has been partitioned into 2 separate parts. The USB Loader application tells me I need to format one of them, but when I press A nothing happens. It resets when I press B, but I can't get it to format the drive as WBFS. I tried formatting both...

Hacking Wiikey config disc with 3.2 firmware

I just had a Wiikey installed on my US Wii, but I can't get it to load the 1.3 Wiikey config disc. I read something about the disc not working with Wiis with firmware higher than 3.0, and something about having to us GCOS to run the setup. Sorry for being a noob, but what exactly am I supposed...

This is great, except I'm on step 6 and I'm not sure how exactly to repack the US file. Help plox.

ROM Hack Megaman Star Force 2 voiceovers

I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't bother adding English voices to Star Force 2, so is there a way to put the Japanese ones back into the game? It could as be as simple as putting the sound files back in, but there's also the possibility that they removed the parts of the script that tell...

    Hacking R4 corrupting save files

It's a Kingston 2GB micro SD, and the files aren't getting corrupted by my PC... I've booted up a game and found the save file corrupted several times without connecting to a computer. I'm certain that it's the part of the R4 that reads the data off the micro SD, since there's also games...

    Hacking R4 corrupting save files

As the topic says, my R4 keeps on corrupting save files whenever I save. There are also minor and very infrequent glitches during games, like graphics sometimes messing up, but it's not as much of a big deal. There's nothing wrong with the micro SD as far as I can tell, and I've tried formating...

    Hacking GBA save file?

My micro SD recently crapped out on me, but I was surprised to find that by running the 3-in-1 by itself it contained the save file I had been using. I'm wondering, where is the save file located? Is a backup made on the 3-in-1 or something? Is there any way to extract it from the 3-in-1? I'm...

    Hacking Corrupted Micro SD card

I believe that it's the new one, though I'm not sure... And it wasn't from the reader, because this is what happened up until it froze: 1. I was playing Phoenix Wright 3. I soft reset, then open up one of my folders, and it freezes. 2. I turn my DS on and off, and then the R4 boots to "micro...

    Hacking Corrupted Micro SD card

My micro SD card just stopped working. This is the second time my R4 has broken a micro SD card... Except this time, my computer had the option of reformating the micro SD card, so it's working, I just need to reupload everything. Is it normal for this to happen, at all? Should I look into...
