I can convert without problems. Just what will it give you?) In uf2, the template for the firmware is deleted and we get a bin file.

Our countries do not have all the cartridges. And right now, no one delivers. This means that I cannot find the GTA trilogy in my country and play it. There remains piracy. And when the new version of Zelda comes out, it won't be there either. I will not be able to buy online or a cartridge.

Not necessarily 10 devices. You can at least put 100. Because There is no ID verification.

On 4pda, someone also said that there is a firmware seller. If I'm not mistaken, the firmware is without protection. So you can buy once and put on 10 devices.

If there are people who sell the firmware, the community can get together for 1-2$ and buy it. To publish for everyone. I wonder what people who sell this firmware will then do? Lose profits)

I think he only did it because he can! And he wanted to prove that it was possible. And the download of HOS was blocked intentionally, because. With this firmware, he did not earn anything. If some money had been transferred to him, he would have completed the project and made it possible to...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

This is an interesting idea. It would be ideal to check this after reading the EMMC dump. First make the original dump, then install rp2040 and make comparisons. Then write the original dump back and put the hwfly and do the comparison again. So we can find out what is being patched. I checked...

I want to make it easier to understand how the current firmware changes boot0. I want to do a full emmc dump of a clean console and then run hecate with rp2040 on it. In it, I will dump boot0 and be able to analyze what the firmware has changed. I did this trick with my old Erista console, I...

Such a frequency is needed for the stability of DAT0. After all, people use different wires and can be interference. At this frequency, we will have a stable connection with the EMMC.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
