Usually, as long as you're custom firmware is up to date, you're good to do the Nintendo update. But I always check with the experts on here to make sure it's safe.
As long as you pay attention and follow the steps, you should be fine. You definitely want to do a nand back up though. Find some way and make the space.
also, I wouldn't worry too much about Nintendo's support because they're probably not going to support the 3DS much longer anyway so it's not...
I would recommend using a regular DS game in your 3DS if you really want to test the d-pad. I can't think of any 3DS games that really "test" it off the top of my head. I'm sure there are some though.
Damn, I wish I had a better answer for you. I've had the same thing happen to me and I always just mess with settings and it ends up working, I'm not sure what fixes it. Sorry
I've had that happen. I had to switch emulators to get it to work. It should be under "injection method" if memory serves me right. I think retroarch worked for me.
I'm not sure if they can do anything about homebrew or custom firmware as long as there isn't anything pirated on there. Again, I don't know the laws over there versus over here though.
Damn, I wish I had a solution for you. I'm not sure what it's like over there but here in the states, a lot of mom and pop gaming stores can repair systems. they might be able to get batteries.
That's my bad, I didn't catch the part about you being in Europe. That would complicate things. Did you only look for the battery on Nintendo's website? I don't know about Europe but I found several third party sites that sell the official battery here in the States. I even found it on Amazon here.
I don't have any experience with it personally but I've heard from several people that they've sent their hacked systems in for repair with no problem. Honestly though, you can buy the official Nintendo battery replacement online for about 10 to $15 and the tool is about $5. It's pretty easy to...
Yeah, I tried every controller option on there. I haven't tried retroarch yet since I prefer to inject them all individually but I'll look into it, thank you.
Civil liberties are "stupid bullshit?" are you arguing that freedom isn't worth dying for?
Also, do some research on how many people die in economic depressions
Again, that sucks but it does nothing to negate my arguments. Government tyranny is nothing to be taken lightly. Aren't you concerned by the fact that all they have to do it say "virus" and they can proceed to drop trou and crap all over our civil liberties?
You got sick and you got better, that feeds into my argument.
"In this last year I felt first hand much more like the virus was about to kill me than the economy was"
How you felt doesn't negate the historical truths I put forth.
