Chaos Code -New Sign of Catastrophe-

I'm gonna be honest, I suck at fighting games. Which is why I was surprised how easy it is to get into this game. This is one of those "against all odds" situations where the in-game tutorial is a wall of text that nobody is gonna read and the game is reviewed by someone who's only had...

Digimon World -Next 0rder- International Edition

Intro Do you remember Digimon World for the original Playstation? Do you also remember how hard it was to get into it without looking up stuff on the internet? I sure do. Luckily Next 0rder, which I will refer to as Ne0 for shot drom now on, isn't that. Well, it's a Digimon World sequel alright...

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Introduction I think it's needless to say that I love me some Metal Gear. I remember it like if it was yesterday when my dad came from Germany to visit us in Poland and would bring me PS1 games and Gamestar magazines with DVD's that had trailers on them. One trailer stood out to me in...

    Grandia II Anniversary Edition

Introduction The first Grandia for the Sega Saturn and PS1 was my first J-RPG ever. When I was a kid I loved the sh*t out of it and still do to this day. However I never liked Grandia II when it came out. It was just so different to the predecessor in every possible way. Almost everything that...

    Final Fantasy 13-2

Introduction Before I start I'd like to say that in my FF13 I did not want to unreasonably bash the game. I was just trying to be honest. Admittedly I did a subpar job on it. So with that out of the way I hope nobody, who loves FF13, will find this review offensive or simply BS. It's not my...

    Digimon World Re:Digitize

Introduction I love the original Digimon World. It introduced me to the Digimon franchise and made me think of games as art. The game was just so unlike any other game I played at the time. In other games the objectives were always clear, you had a clear progression path, mistakes didn't had any...

    Final Fantasy 13 (PC)

Introduction Final Fantasy XIII was always a weird horse for me. I always wondered why the critics liked this game so much but the fans hate it like some sort of disease. I watched a let's play, of somebody who really enjoyed playing it, twice (while grinding in other RPG's) and I seriously...

    Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth

Introduction I'm a big Digimon fan. When Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth was initially announced back in December 2013 I was really exited. The first trailer was really vague and mysterious which kept me engaged. The aesthetic that was shown reminded me and many others a lot of the style used in the...

    Need for Speed Most Wanted

Introduction Full disclosure, the last NFS game I played was Need For Speed: Undercover and Need For Speed: World. My opinion will be heavily influenced by these old standards and I'm going to make many comparisons with the old Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Aah, the title Need For Speed Most...

    The Awakened Fate Ultimatum

Introduction The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is a sequel to a game called The Guided Fate Paradox. I haven't played the predecessor so I didn't know what to expect from the game. The angelic aesthetic gave me mixed feelings since I usually tend to like sci-fi or medieval fantasy more. Also I didn't...

    Phantasy Star Online 2

Introduction The localization of PSO2 is a sad story for every western fan of the franchise. The game was supposed to release in 2013 in US and EU but got delayed over and over and over. Now there is even a fully translated English version for other Asia countries although that one being region...

    The Legend of Korra

Story I personally love the Avatar Series and Legend of Korra series for it's story. After hearing from a interview how platinum games worked with the original writers to avoid plot inconsistencies and create a overall better game I expected a story that is similar to a pre-sequel which would...

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
