Yeah, you'll be fine, I ordered on the 24th November and my order arrived on the 7th (not with free shipping btw!)
Shame to see you go ShopTemp, their customer support was excellent, and the Xmas Shipping option was actually amazingly quick from China!
While on the subject, is it still Royal Mail if you choose the Xmas delivery option?
Ordered on the 24th so the 5-10 days isn't far away and was just wondering who to expect
Interesting! Might have to get myself to a local electronics place to get the special screwdriver. Feeling a little less annoyed now, the whole kit is only £13 on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Replacement-Top-LCD-...=item53e3bf8772 (I'm assuming that'd be fine?)
James.
Thanks for the quick reply , my only concern with doing that is I haven't fiddled with electronics like that in a while and from what I gather the ribbon cables can be a bitch sometimes. Seeing as I paid £40(~US$60) for it in the first place I'm wondering whether to just cut my losses and buy...
Well how ironic.
After lurking here for a month after getting my DS (from eBay), getting to grips with the wonders of flashcarts etc I finally decided to register to maybe contribute or something.
Lo in behold, I turn my DS Lite on tonight to be greeted with this:
No idea how it happened...
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
