    Hacking AKAIO Wiki

Thanks for the info guys. Also tk_saturn, seeing your signature reminded me, does ShopTemp sell the Acekard 2i with the microSDHC usb adapter? I want to order it from them but I see no info mentioning that on their page.

    Hacking AKAIO Wiki

Random save file question: I have used CycloDS for a long time, but am planning on getting a Acekard 2i soon. I know that I should be able to just use the same save files from before, but is there a setting in AKAIO to put all .sav files in their own folder like there is with my Cyclo? I prefer...

    Hacking Samurai_Warriors_3_PAL_Wii-WiiERD - Bad dump?

Got any links to something like that? Game works on my roommate's TV but not mine. If I can get a converter for cheap I wouldn't mind having it for the future. I actually was googling around the other day for something similar but couldn't find anything (prob didn't look hard enough).

As I posted before it works on the Vizio HDTV I'm using right now. Although, I do believe MOST NTSC TVs don't support PAL50 resolutions (576i), but if you have one that does then the game works just fine by loading it forcing PAL50 (all other settings I tried gave me a blank screen).

Got the game working perfectly fine on a NTSC Vizio HDTV using component cables and Force PAL50 option w/ 249 in CFG Loader. Shows 576i as the resolution so I suppose this TV just happens to support PAL resolutions.

    Hacking Samurai_Warriors_3_PAL_Wii-WiiERD - Bad dump?

Using composite cables I could boot the game, forcing PAL50, but the screen is black and white and shifted down (black bar at the top, bottom cut off). I contemplated playing the game like this anyways, just because I really wanted to understand the stories (played already in Japanese), but I...

    Hacking Samurai_Warriors_3_PAL_Wii-WiiERD - Bad dump?

Same here with wanting to play it early. I already played the hell out of it in the Japanese release, but I want to be able to understand the stories because they were really awesome and seemed like the best in the series. If Koei plans on releasing SW3 in the US around the same time as BASARA 3...

Still, even if it gets a proper dump anyone without a 50 Hz TV won't be able to play it. Unless of course one of the other releases like Australia or Finland add a 60 Hz option to the game (which I doubt). Have there been any 50 Hz only games that could be properly hacked / loaded to display...

    Hacking Samurai_Warriors_3_PAL_Wii-WiiERD - Bad dump?

Interesting. I always just thought there was NTSC meant 60 Hz and PAL meant 50 Hz until the first time I toyed with Wii loaders and saw a Force PAL 60 option, lol. All I knew of them was any PAL PS2 game I imported that had a 60 Hz mode played in full color and with no shaking on every single TV...

I think Historical mode, Murasame mode, and Free mode work but it locks up when loading a video from Story mode. Then again that is just from testing it quickly in Dolphin, since as I said the disc freezes on me when I try to create my save (plus the whole 50 Hz issue of course).

Have their been any other games with only Pal 50 support that has been made work fine by Forcing it into Pal 60 or NTSC? I just realized that all the other Pal games I played on my NTSC most likely had Pal 60 support and that was what was being auto forced by the loader programs before.

    Hacking Samurai_Warriors_3_PAL_Wii-WiiERD - Bad dump?

Looking at this back cover it looks like the game (at least this French[?] one) is only Pal 50. So even if a proper rip comes out or someone was to import the game itself, it might not play on an NTSC TV. http://moe.mabul.org/up/moe/2010/05/26/img-203536rhgzd.png I tried a bunch of settings...

Maybe they ripped the movies out (besides the intro) or something? When I went to try it in Dolphin, the game froze if I started someone's story mode but it would work if I did a free mode level (I set the voices to Japanese and sound was perfectly fine).

I ran that on Dolphin and it works fine but I only have an NTSC Wii and no matter what I did it always booted into a black screen. Hopefully there is a way to fix this.
