    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Don't know what source menu is, I think I use flow view which has the 6 icons that show up at the bottom. Ok, got it working. I used the second to last button on the right to cycle through to the nand and it showed all the wads I had installed. Whew, I feel like an idiot now. One other thing...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

I don't use a WBFS partition and don't have a WBFS folder. The USB HD is set as one 90GB NTFS partition and one 21 GB FAT32. The apps folder and wiiflow lite are on the FAT32 partition and I launch wiiflow from inside the homebrew channel. I can browse all the files/folders on both partitions...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

I haven't used Wiiflow in a few years so deleted my old version(both in apps folder and root directory wiiflow folder) and installed the latest wiiflow lite on my external usb hard drive. Problem is no games are found, nothing. I have quite a few VC games installed on the real nand but nothing...

Yes, the syscheckhde version from the first post. I also tried the original syscheck from 2012 and it also gives the same error. The hard drive I have is a 120GB 2.5inch Toshiba StorE steel. The fat32 partition is 21GB, the NTFS partition 90GB.

    Tutorial Posting a System Check

I've ordered a new SD card but I'm stuck with using a USB2 Hard Drive at the moment. The hard drive has 2 partitions, one is NTFS that is just for media storage. The 2nd partition is FAT32 with my apps folder and syscheck is run from that, launched from inside the homebrew 1.1.0 channel.

Homebrew Dosbox .conf and .map files collection for Wiiflow

First time using dosbox in a few years on the WII. I have installed the new 1.7x beta4 r4301 dynrec but it isn't any faster than the old 2012 dosbox release for me. Can someone post the optimum settings to use on the WII for these parts of the dosbox.conf file: output = surface (this...

Homebrew UAE Wii can't play Speris Legacy - part of screen missing?

List the options you have configured (I can get it working but it is way too slow). I got the whole picture by selecting 320x200 and custom aspect ratio, then just scale it until it fits.

    Homebrew Wii at 240p

It is quite a common misconception not just on wii but on nearly all the forums I have been on for classic consoles/computers that output 240/288p. Lots of people think you need a scart and RGB to have 240p on a crt. A rubbish RF cable will output 240/288p.

    Homebrew Wii at 240p

BTW, 240p will also work with the default Wii composite(yellow, red, white) leads, it's a misconception, but RGB itself is not a requirement to display 240p (or 288p in pal). RGB will just decrease interference (stop color bleed etc) compared to composite and rf.

    Homebrew DosBOX Wii

Anyone had success compiling the latest version of devkit with using Dosbox svn4034.

Homebrew Is there any reason to use an actual Wii?

The upscaled resolution don't look that good to me and are still a bit blurry at anything other than the TV/Monitor's native res. Nothing beat a wii picture on a crt imho (particularly some of the later ones that support 480p).

Homebrew Smash T.V Arcade, What Emulator?

Try the latest RetroArc nightly build https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/wii , load the mame200 core and and use the correct rom of Smash TV for that mame build (it uses mame roms from ver 0.37 BETA 5) Otherwise I have played the PC DOS version in dosbox on the Wii. (Easily the best...

Homebrew NEW official cores on retroarch wii

Wii version still using the old FBA version 0.2.97.30. Other ports of Retroarch are using FB Alpha v0.2.97.38 (lots more games supported). Would be good if it is feasible for FBA to be updated to the newest version on the wii.

    Homebrew Hatari Wii 0.0.5

Wiimpathy, Great work. I have been checking the wiibrew site over the years to see if there was an update. Didn't you release a version of Hatari about 6 years ago on the wii??

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

I have the same setup, RGB cable and 25" CRT (have 3 other crt's and tried all of them). Still it does not look like an arcade monitor. I select 4:3 in retroarch, what resolution and settings do you use in the options menu for normal res acrade games like double dragon etc, to look as they should.

Homebrew WiiMC RELEASED!!! (Wii Media Center)

Would be good to have the option to skip 5 seconds etc with the cursor pad when playing audio files. The option exists for video files.

VC #1184 - Wolf of the Battlefield Commando (Europe)

Is this PAL version the same speed as the 60hz NTSC version of this game. Or do we get slow downs like with the PAL versions of other virtual console ports.
