Homebrew Forwarder Channel that wakes up USB hard drive

I have been editing the UniversalForwarder source code to forward to my usbloader applications. The problem is that when my USB hard drive is sleeping and I launch the forwarder and launch cfg usbloader, the Wii freezes at the splash screen or sometimes the 30 sec count down and I have to hard...

Hacking Gamecube Backup Launcher broken with cIOS rev15

I have Gamecube Backup Launcher 0.2 with mios patcher v5 and it was working fine with cIOS rev14. I was able to launch the gamecube backup disc with the actual GC Launcher in the HBC and also through a neogamma channel. I updated to cIOS rev15 and now I am not able to launch any gamecube...

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

If anyone is still interested I found a way to load MP1 and MP2 in 480p from USB! It was posted by rypaul on a different thread. I've tested it and it works: Use Neogamma R7 to load your usb partition and and change the settings so that: alt dol: disc Force video: ntsc480p Patch video: All...

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

Finally! Thank you so much. Finally a guide that I can follow step by step and will actually work. Great guide, couldn't be better. It's actually quite quick and easy once you know what to do. Now I can finally play Metroid Prime 1 & 2 in 480p. I already had them loading from usb loader...

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

No, I only deleted stuff from the MP3 folder. I'm obviously not planning on playing metroid 3 from this disc. Just MP1 and MP2 in 480p. That's the whole reason I want it on a disc, because the usb loader forces it to 408i.

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

Well, I'm trying to follow all the examples from this thread, but it just isn't working out for me. Here's what I did. I got Wii Scrubber v1.0 because that's what has been recommended. I loaded the Metroid Trilogy iso and when I right clicked on a file in the iso I saw a Save option and a...

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

When replacing the files with empty 0 kb files does it matter what the extension of the file is? How do you make a 0 kb file?

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

Would you mind posting some step by step instructions. You already explained pretty well, but just for those of us who have never used Wii Scrubber. Thanks a lot for figuring this out!

Hacking An idea for Metroid Prime Trilogy without USB or DualLayer disc

This idea intrigues me. I would like to try it, but I've never used Wii Scrubber before. I have it downloaded and the metroid trilogy iso loaded. I'm wondering how to exactly "erase" something. When I right click on a file it says extract or replace, no delete option. Would I use the...
