Shining Force Feather is a strategy RPG. You gather a team of heroes and take on enemy forces in tactical battles. The sales weren't great in Japan. It's around 60k since it's release. There has been no talk about localizing it...
Rune Factory and Harvest Moon in general don't have the most rugged male protagonists so it's not a big deal to me. From what I heard there is more interactivity and depth to the characters in this game that alone has me excited.
So far I like the game. Sure the story is fairly cliche but I kinda like it. Aire is so spoiled and I find that amusing. I haven't had to grind too much yet though I need to do some before taking on the 3rd boss again.
Well, I give up. How about we all post the first RPG that got you hooked on genre?
Mine was Final Fantasy for the NES. I first had to be the navigator for my brother while he played it(a trend that continued for many years) then I got my chance and I was hooked from that moment on.
Just to clear up any confusion. This game is not a remake of FF1. It's an original game with some elements of the FF series and of course the typical RPG stuff like quest to save world.
