Sister has a Wii. It's not modded and never has been (although I tried convincing her way back when :P)
Anyways, I updated it a few days ago and downloaded Netflix, they wanted to use it for that.
A few days later of netflix watching, they try turning the Wii on and BOOM. Black screen.
No...
Alright so I uninstalled the official app, and cleared the data in the universal driver.
I cannot for the life of me sync the controller to the driver.
It will scan and find it, but not connect, it just keeps flashing blue (the gamepad).
What gives ;_;?
It will even say paired in...
Alright so recently received a new MOGA gamepad. Works flawlessly in 'actual' apps/games.
Trying to get this to work in an emulator is a PAIN.
Right, so I turn on bluetooth, sync the gamepad with the official MOGA app, then downloaded the universal driver.
I go into one of the emulators...
Mmmm. Is there any difference between the two? I remember always hearing when the Supercard came out that it was going to be on the top (well go figure!).
I'm surprised it's so cheap (well the R4i...$16 bucks? Wooo!)
Oh wow, the Supercard is $40 <_< I don't expect her to use the flashcard as...
My sister will be getting a 3DS for Christmas, so I'm pretty damn sure her R4 will not work. Therefore, I'll be buying her a new flashcard.
I understand I could easily search for something like this but I assume most of the threads I will find are old and not current.
Also, is it true the...
>_> I need your age too guys. Correlations etc. unless you're against it. Doesn't really help if you don't post an age XD.
And I was too lazy for a poll.
Project for Statistics course. Need as many as possible to post.
How many hours do you spend playing video games on a TYPICAL day? And how old are you?
Thanks in advance :)
I could, but it would depend. Depends on the fact that the owner knows that I'll be putting a lot of hard work into it and it has a chance of having very minor flaws (like my Mario one) due to limited practice / actual equipment like a real paint gun and air compressor.
That's my main concern...
Hahah I'm thinking about it. Here's a rough photoshop of what I'd be making for Luigi:
To make that black decal took me an hour or so. Take photo of image of Luigi in strategy guide, make it all smooth etc. turn it black blah blah.
Why not just spray your own instead of buying mine :P? More...rewarding!
But thanks for all the comments :D!
If you want, throw me some suggestions for another NES or SNES. I'm thinking about sometime this summer making another.
I might do Luigi to match Mario. Although it's hard to find...
I spent the better half of a day spray painting (2 hours sanding, 8 hours painting... Something like that, but I waited 10 minutes between each coat so I did something in between coats like work). Did like 3-4 coats per piece. What took so long was the amount of pieces and doing everything...
First console I've painted. I have before swapped housings for a DS lite and a PSP (original). Can't think of any other physical mods than those two. Tried to do a Wii housing swap but I can't remember what I did wrong, was a while back. I believe I still have the housing for that, may try it...
I finished this last week and decided to post it here (to show off and receive feedback).
It's not -perfect- but it's good enough for me, as this was quite a large project despite how small the NES is.
It's now a two tone red pepper and gloss black mix with a matching controller and new white...
Then how the hell was I supposed to use the HDD if it just went to a black screen (with the new one)?
Sony makes this so complicated.
I think I figured it out.
Currently, re-installed old HDD and updated firmware via USB. Now backing up data yet again.
Now, when I put in the newer HDD, it...
I bought an HDD:
-Backed up old data to an external harddrive
-Removed old drive
-Installed new HDD
-PS3 asked to install update via USB so I did, got into XMB etc. --> restore data
Now, the PS3 threw me an error saying it could not restore my backup data.
So I thought I would throw in my old...
Gotta be honest don't remember much about the Wii homebrew scene.
Anyways, I heard running gamecube backups with rev15 is bad and probably doesn't work (in which it really doesn't in my case). I tried both wiigator's launcher and neogamma which end up in a disc timeout and you hear ticking...
Hmmm. Neogamma seems to work, but when Metroid Prime boots up, it tells me 'The Game Disc Could not be read check the gamecube booklet etc.'
Odd. I'll try booting from the SD card...unless someone has any other ideas.
Really? Is it that much better? I'll give it a shot. It can run DVDs right?
This is for gamecube btw. I don't know much about gamecube backups but this is the way I used to load them lol.
My dog used to chase off my neighbors cat from our yard, till one day the cat stood its ground, and paw slapped the shit out of my dog, now the cat wonders thru my yard, and my dog don't even care anymore, he's like f that cat. Lol
