Hacking Dumping a retail cart with GodMode9 - is the .cia locked to a console?

Great, thanks. Dumping a 1 or 2GB file on a normal 3DS is slow, so if I can skip that part that will save me time!

Hacking Dumping a retail cart with GodMode9 - is the .cia locked to a console?

I'm in the process of dumping some games to my 3DS so I don't need to bring them with me when I travel, and they're available on the SD card. It's going fine and well (pleasantly surprised to find it backs up the save too - I think?), but if I wanted to back that game up to my 2nd 2DS, could I...

Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

Sorry for the confusion. It's Paper Mario Colo(u)r Splash. I just saw that it needs a modified file to work on EU consoles, so I'll give that a shot. I have a EU copy now though so I'll try that first. Thanks for the help.

Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

So I'm trying to launch an out of region game from USB. It's a USA game, and my console is EU. When loading the game the splash screen comes up, and I get: "Error Code: 150-3033 An error has occurred. The USB storage device may not be receiving enough power." This is through both Haxchi and...

I have a question - is there a way to stop USB Loader GX from telling me to have a controller ini?

    Hacking Nintendont

Yeah, it seems like it's not even showing up in the Nintendont app (I use GX USB). Thanks.

    Hacking Nintendont

With Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, it seems to free at "Init DI" on the Wii U. It loads everything else fine, as well as recognising Bluetooth ports, but I can't get past "Init DI...". It doesn't fail, just hangs there and I have to physically unplug the Wii U. Other games seem to work fine.

Hacking Having trouble backing up Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The masterpieces issue is most likely a reload issue - That can be solved with the latest cIOSs. Which cIOS do you have installed?

Hacking Alright, Usb loading is a mess now.

Just use ModMii. Set it up as a brand new Wii, it'll give you everything. If you still have access to Homebrew Channel, you won't need to BannerBomb etc., but install all the WADs.

    Homebrew SaveGame Manager GX

For some reason, only 10 or so saves are showing when I load from Wii. R125, 4.2E Update: Never mind. Changed to load from IOS58 and it shows them all.

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

Ripped some replacements that I had, and they're working fine. Definitely seems to be the messing about with partitions.

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

MiniTool Partition Wizard. Here's the log http://pastebin.com/sxRAmHhw. An excerpt from there, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which desyncs the remote when you load it up (and you can't resync them): Am I all out of luck?

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

That's bizarre - Metroid Prime Trilogy has come up as faulty (at least, that's what I'm assuming red text means), even though I personally ripped that after all the stuff happened.

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

Oh well - My completion side wants me to track them all down again, but I have to think. When was the last time I played any of those games! WBM has 8 more games to go, but it's definitely looking like those middle 70 games. Never mind. Cheers for the advice

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

I think so, it was a whole mess. Split the partition first, the games were on the NTFS side. Moved them over to new FAT32. Gamecube games wouldn't load, because the partition wasn't first, so I moved the files back (I think at this point it through up some errors, saying some are corrupt)...

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

Taking a few hours to go through WBM's sda1 checker, but it seems only a section of the games are damaged - Well, I say 'only', it's B - R. Still, could be worse. Could WIT in your signature do anything?

Hacking No WBFS files load anymore, after changing drive cluster size etc.

When the Gamecube loading came out, I split my NTFS hard drive in to two partitions. After quite a bit of messing about and annoyance, I managed to get it working (originally it was 64kb clusters etc). Now, the FAT32 partition has all my WBFS Wii games on, as well as Gamecube. The latter is...
