Gaming Games for a 4 year old.. she can't read yet.

Some good recommendations here. Also WonderPets just came out for the DS, that would be good. J

Gaming games 4yrs to 8yrs old

Everyone left off the venerable classics: Mario Kart (great for ALL ages, my 3 year old loved this game--now 5) New Super Mario Brothers Not as favorite: Super monkey Ball (great for smaller ones) Beyond that, you need to judge personalities. My oldest (girl now 10) loves the imagine series...

Gaming Club Penguin not working on R4DS

I got it to work and the WIFI does work. Thanks for the helpful hint. Hopefully there will be a new R$ firmware release, if not, I'll be learning how to patch :-). J

Gaming Club Penguin not working on R4DS

Thank you very much for the recommendation. I have been part of the scene for about 2 years and rarely had any problems. But with the R4 production at the tail end and little chance of firmware updates I might have to breakdown and start thinking about the cycloDS to replace my 3 (yes I said...

Gaming Club Penguin not working on R4DS

Hi All, I have the R4DS with firmware 1.18. It appears that club penguin is not working ("The save data could not be accessed...please turn the power off and reinsert the DS Card?) Does anyone have any ideas as to how to possibly get this to work since I do not believe there are many firmware...

    Gaming Good ds tennis game?

There were two Euro releases for the DS, but none in the US. 1. Rafa Nadel 2. Tennis Masters I have played both and one was "OK." Check with IGN or gamespot and see which one was better if you have that much interest.

DS #1788: Hot Wheels: Beat That (USA)

I can say I am not a fan of racers on the DS (though I can say Mario Kart was great and Asphalt GT 2 was pretty good.) This will be a killer for my 4 year old who loves all things DS!!! well except for the games you need to read something :-) Thanks to the release group.

DS #1724: Interactive Storybook DS: Series 3 (USA)

Thanks, great for the little one, bad for the thirtysomething in me.

    DS #1544: EA Playground (USA)

Nothing wrong trying, I actually, or sadly, enjoy DS balls of Fury. Mini games are a good "I have only ten minute to play" type of game. You can't play Zelda:PM for only 10, you need an hour at a clip

DS #1531: Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja (Europe)

First up :-) Now I have to see if it is worth playing ;-)

DS #1481: Backyard Football 2008 (USA)

I tried the BY basketball and was less than thrilled with the play. I liked some of the BY games for the GBA, but have been unimpressed with the engined used for the DS. Maybe this will be an improvement over basketball or maybe the Hockey game (as mentioned by The Claw) will give us something...

    DS #1453: Math Play (USA)

OK, so it is likely Cr*p for those 15+, but being a thirtysomething with three kids, I this is on my list of games to be had. The one that will play it likely needs it least. The one who needs it most will play it least, but maybe I can get her to try. Better than her playing Nancy Drew (I...
