    Help with Project64 and the Gamecube adapter

    I am using a Gamecube controller plugged into the adapter into my computer. When I use it in Project64, while playing Majora's Mask, all of the buttons will stop working until I press one of the triggers. This doesn't happen when i use it in my Wii or Gamecube. Any idea why this is happening?
