I tried to play three houses and then the switch didn't respond to anything half my games are corrupted and when I try to launch three houses it says there was an error (and it doesn't find corrupted data, but with my digital games it does) should I reinstall all of my games? If three houses is a cartridge game how do I fix the error upon loading? Or is the cartridge dead? If that's the case can I download a physical version and use the same save files?

If your Switch is reporting more than just your cartridge games as corrupted, then its unlikely its just your cartridge that is the issue. I suppose you can try cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip to see if that helps. Or if you no longer want to use the cartridge, you can switch to using a digital version. If you decide to go down that route instead, then there is nothing to worry when it comes to the save file because all saves are stored inside the console on the Switch; cartridges are read-only so saves cannot be stored there.

probably had fire emblem updates files on your sd/nand so they got corrupted too, im guessing either your sd or the entire switch internal memory got corrupted so you might need to delete everything and start again, hopefully you use an sd and it was just the sd card.
