A year ago I attempted to get my game engine running on Windows XP. I had specifically designed it with old hardware in mind, and besides installing a Linux distribution, I thought it was stupid and reflected poorly on me as a programmer that you needed a modern bloated version of Windows NT to run games that were meant for early 2000s hardware.
At the time I concluded that it was not possible yet, because we (inadvertently) relied on Harfbuzz, which used GLib. Something previously not made obvious to us, since library distribution works a bit differently on Linux. Gotta love GNOMEslop.I keep misreading your name as "Bonkymaker" somehow.
