    How do you build a NAND?
    Before we start building NAND, let's look at the basic structure to help you to identify each section used, the placement, and purpose.

    Experimenting. This NAND was created from scratch, with the only unique data being the CID, ConsoleID, and HWInfo (though HWInfo is not really necessary). It boots on real hardware too.

    It almost looks as if you picked a non-matching width, and yeah, it looks fancy.

    Also, what bitmap type is this? I thought that all major bitmaps go pixel by pixel for each colour in sequence, not colour by colour or whatever happened here?

    @lightwo sorry, I have no knowledge of bitmaps. The first two bytes are "BM" and it was just converted with imagemagick by convert in.jpeg out.bmp

    I love computer games. Download a 17gb update, unpack a 17gb update, get another 10gb download, find out that files are broken so I have to verify and repair the entire 60gb game, retry the 10gb download, stuck on verifying the failed download, retry the 10gb download AGAIN, network error, close the computer, curl into a ball, cry.

    If you get games from Steam and if it broke on you then you should request for refund to get your money back. I know Steam is one big hassles of bigger files and sometimes give problems to people.

    I just stick with GOG forever. No more buy games on Steam for me. Steam are waste our times, money and waiting for patch to fixes. Very annoy.

    For me it's just HSR on linux with an iffy hard drive and slow internet, which is a fun combo. Not much I can do about that right now.

    I love archival. Until I have a billion windows open in an old apple emulator. But seeing this 1995 article today was an interesting surprise. Would definitely recommend giving it a read to see how computers and neural nets used to be thought of.

    I love the takeaway where the tools were not to be relied on, but instead learned from. Doctors can change their approach to how they diagnose patients and how they think or teach about radiology. Not using the neural net, but just by inspiration from how it works. I think that's a good perspective to have with the "AI" we have today, and the author would do very well at not getting caught up in the hype.

    It only got released last night. Also not actually from an LRG cartridge haha. The wayforward seller from last year came back with a present.

    Hahaha, I had a feeling, but hey, you never know these days. Do the wheels on the title screen signify anything in particular, or are they there just to designate a debug copy?

    No idea, probably to show it is debug. A copy has been put on archive.org as "Shantae 2: Risky Revolution 2004 Demo ROM"

    mfw maxmod on pre-calico libnds DESTROYS NAND reading/writing. Not entirely sure what happens, but maxmod causes FIFO messages to be lost, or for ARM7 to get stuck endlessly waiting on an interrupt. Not too noticeable if you're handling a couple sectors, but do a couple megabytes and you will experience lockups.... might be in the middle of a NAND restore, updating the bootloader, etc
