to be clear the performance isnt whats bothering me, its mostly the camera system and how wall clipping is handled

I'm shocked someone who plays VR is even capable of getting motion sick from traditional games

its been a year or two since i last used VR, but even then despite the fact that i used to do very intensive VR esports and speedrunning, sometimes going up to 8 or 9 hours straight with the headset on... when i retired from all that i didn't use VR for like 2 months, and when i finally used it again i got sick in like 5 minutes :hateit:
That was a cool DK tech demo, hope they make it in to a full game and not just this room eventually

fedora is ubuntu but a hundred times better. i would move to the original fedora if I was able to make gnome look like how ubuntu did it or something

fedora is by far my favorite feeling one, that's why i wound up choosing garuda this time

arch based but with enough flexibility to make it feel more like fedora without much hassle

i would recommend trying it if you ever want something like endeavourOS again because it was just a smoother experience overall for me

in a perfect world i could just use fedora but it doesn't lend too well to my niches sadly
i really like the switch 2 joycons because i can be lazy and just lie down with my arms separate while playing... but at the same time i avoid using them because all i can think about is how fast they might start drifting
my cool awesome review as someone with a detrimentally intense love for controller collecting:

switch 2 pro controller is nice but no where near $90 nice

    the end

yeah it's not bad by any means, just doesn't provide anywhere near enough over the competition to justify being the most expensive option there is for first party

i am a sucker for how phenomenal the rumble and motion feel though

It's the sticks and battery life for me. I've had smooth sticks before from Gulikit in particular (also got a bunch from 8BitDo/Manba/PowerA that are nice) but these really are another level. And 40ish hour battery life with all the features it has? It's just so nice.

I have the original switch pro controller and find it hard to come up with enough of a reason to buy the new one as well
the year is 3025, all nintendo switches are now gone, destroyed, reduced to atoms, humanity has long since left earth and moved on to broader horizons

you go on the internet and ask if anyone knows a means by which you can access these games anymore, the games now being ancient relics of time long past
i really hope pikmin 4 gets a switch 2 upgrade, it's in my top 5 all time games but man it's more than rough graphically
how far away is splatoon 4 likely to be? not sure if i should pick up 3 or just wait

I think probably 2026 or 2027 - depends how long you want to wait

i'm really curious if mario kart world is more of a technical wonder where they pulled all the stops with optimizing it and is a good measurement of the best the switch has to offer, or if it's actually a product that plays it safe in terms of performance and we'll see games become vastly more high quality as devs get more familiar with the hardware like switch 1
people still complaining about expensive headsets willfully ignorant to the fact that the quest is the switch 1 equivalent to the rest of the industry

i know it's not an accessible industry but this gets whined about every single time vr is brought up ever since the quest came out and gave people the option to experience vr albeit in an extremely compromised and barebones fashion

to put it in perspective, imagine if someone bought a switch and then any time gaming was ever mentioned, the only exclusive thing they would say is that the PS6 is too expensive and unobtainable

that's probably true to be fair but also please whine about something else for a little whole

See on that Pimax thread I don't think it's so much complaining it's expensive as it is complaining they claim it's affordable lol. It's surely got the specs to match the price and maybe even be good value, but affordability is an entirely different scale.
wanna quit a website? just randomly generate a 50 character password and make your browser stop saving your password for that site so you have to manually type it every time
it's weirdly comforting to see gta 6 of all things be given the time it needs to cook instead of being rushed out

gta 6 more like gta bricks because it makes people.... i'll stop talking now
there's not much that feels worse than seeing someone being in the condition you used to be in but not having the tools or simply the willpower to change it the way you know its possible to
