    Finished downloading. What has become of gaming consoles? They used to be so easy and quick compared to PC games: Insert cartridge or disc, press power → Play game.
    No internet, no updates, no nonsense.

    To be fair: The 3DS hold a special place in my heart and definitely belongs to the new stuff. But it can still work like the old ones.

    I'm glad I stopped caring for new video games while having enough old ones → :)

    You don't, just remember the ideas and how do you work with them. There are some different types of programming languages, and each type shares a lot of common concepts and ways of doing things, with some differences here and there, but the common ground is a lot. It is this common ground that you remember, more related to how to do things, how to think about things, algorithms and architecture, etc.

    You usually remember and know quite well how to use the programming languages (and libraries, APIs, etc.) you are currently working with. And if you need to use another language that you haven't used for quite a while, well, perhaps you will need to review and remember a couple of things, but the common ground is quite big. I don't think it will be so much effort to review and remember then.

    Is Omori a bad game? I have seen that the game is highly criticized (especially in the Hispanic community) and I doubt if I should play it.

    youtuber nitro rad has an entire video on Omori. i personally found nothing offensive about it. maybe take a peak and make the call.

    p.s. avoid watching the entire video if you're at all interested. plenty of spoilers abound at the end section of the video.

    WTF? Time to learn it if you ask me. Should not take more than a few minutes.
    I would feel like being locked up here in concrete desert without my bicycle. Going all the way up, several hundred meters in altitude until the feeling of being high on drugs induced by endurance sport starts… and then enjoying the opposite direction.
    One of the few nice moments in my ruined life (besides the method I used yesterday)

    You are a bit young, but I'll tell you anyway. My other method for nice moments not involving sports goes like this:

    I close the shutters, light a few candles, turn on an old gaming console and pretend it is still the 1990s or early 2000s. Then I drink some booze with Lora.
    While trying to forget the last 20 to 25 years ever existed I'm sometimes able to find a few hours of peace or even happiness.
