It says "DVD Err(1208), Disc ID" after I try to load it then it says "no cIOS + DVD-R?" I just updated my Homebrew Channel ( softmod) & Wii to both their latest version, but didn't really seem to do anything with it. I have absolutely no idea what is making it do that. Can someone tell me what to do please? Would you also tell me what exactly to do & what to download.

sounds like you haven't installed a cios. install a or several cios/s and see what happens.

I always get a DVD Err because of the DVD's I'm using. I'm using philips (I really hate that bought a pack of DVD's and then they don't work)
A few of my friends had problems with their disks. They were all solved when they changed to USB loaders. If you still intend on using a disk loader make sure you have a cIOS installed. Use Verbatim brand disks they're the only ones that manage to work on my friend's Wii's, though we didn't try all that many brands. Burning speed didn't seem to matter.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
