ROM Hack ACNH: Transferring Island from Clean to Hack and back to clean?

Hey everyone! I have two switches; one clean untouched switch I use to play online, and one I use for hacking.

Could I use the island transfer tool to transfer my save island from Clean > Hacked >Clean and not get banned? The transfer woud be done locally and all I would use it NHSE to give myself all recipes/bells/change villies?

I've done something very similar:

I had a hacked file on one switch, edited it heavily to my liking and transferred it to my legit switch. Then at once point I had transferred it back to edit some more Nook Miles Achievements and sent it back over. So far, no ban or issues.

I used to go online on my CFW switch a lot when ACNH was first released and traded items around. People say there's always ban risks, and I agree. Just don't go too nuts I suppose.

EDIT: Also my own personal tip is to try and remain offline as much as possible if you intend to play on your CFW switch. I owned a legit copy so I think that makes it safer but anytime I was offline I would go into airplane mode. So far so good.

Thanks for the response! My CFW switch is already banned since we weren't going to use any online functions. The one that is untouched is the Animal Crossing Edition; one that contains a clean save file. I do anything using local connections

I was wondering if you achieved your method by using the island trasnfer tool? I would use JKSV but I don't want to go thru all the hassle of touching my clean switch. Is this possible to do with the island transfer tool and not likely get a ban? Thanks again

Is this working with a banned console ? Transfert the save in my banned switch to my non hacked one ?

Without being able to go online (by being banned) I believe there's no way to transfer a hacked save from a banned switch to another one without another hacked switch (which is what ive done before. I have 3 hacked switches, one being banned and a switch lite)

Sorry for the mad late reply, don't get on the forum much ^^;;
So with the hacked switch, legit switch, island transfer tool and such I did the procedure like it was too normal switches. I think you can only import a save via JKSV if both switches are brewed up. I personally took the risk of doing the transfer tool from my hacked save to a legit switch, ensuring I had copies of the game on both. So far no bans and I play semi-frequently. Sometime I even visit my legit town with my new, hacked town and drop items off when needed.

may i ask hows that been going for you? did you ever transfer? i was able to transfer mine back to back with no issues, i only did it about twice however after picking it back up after about 6 months the transfer tool doesnt work. it basically doesnt recognize each other and wondering if you had the same issue.
