Hi, i attempted a case swap a few weeks ago for my nintendo switch lite.
However, while putting it back together, i decided to check if everything worked. The screen did not turn on, but i could move the joycons and hear it scrolling trough the menu. After holding the switch close to a bright lite, i could see a ghost of the menu. I assumed the backlight was broken so i bought a new display from aliexpress. I put it in and i had the exact same problem.
I measured voltages with both screens and measured a voltage of 4 volts on the middle pin and 0 on all the other ones.
I also checked contiuety/resistance between all the pins, nothing beeped (tried all combinations including different polarities). i find this very odd as this means the connectors aren't connected internaly, not even through an LED. I highly doubt this. while taking off the old screen i cracked it so i decided to open it up to see how it is connected on the inside and im pretty sure i should've read continuety between atleast one pin and the one i read 4V on
Did i just get unlucky and recieve a broken screen as my replacement or is there a deeper issue going on with my switch?
