Hi there. As the title says.
Is there any method to make specific games run as a nsp forwarder using psnes emulator?
I mean launching the game directly on switch screen with its boxart and goes directly to that game not a psnes. Like retroarch rom method. (I don’t want to use retroarch) I want that method with psnes.

also is there PGba like PSnes and PNes?
Thanks a lot.

To my knowledge, rom forwarders only work with retroarch cores. I mean you can try making your own using nro2nsp and use the retroarch section at the bottom of the program, but where it asks for the retroarch core, type i. The path to the emulator you want to use. Again im not sure if this will work

I already tried but unfortunately it doesn’t enter to the game directly . It just show the psnes emulator instead. Any idea please?

I tried weeks ago with a stand-alone ppsspp and it worked with this method on all games but unfortunately psnes didn’t.

The reason it works if because those emulators can be passed a path when you open the executable, and it’ll try and load the rom from the given path.

im guessing the reason it doesn’t work is because psnes doesn’t check the args passed in (I haven’t checked the code though). It’s probably best asking the author if it’s possible and to maybe add it as an option. It wouldn’t take too much work to add so it’s likely they will :)

I noticed that psnes and pnes didn’t save any of affects option.
All options can be saved except that option I don’t know why.

Because I really like that affect option which is called (sabr v3) but unfortunately I can’t save that option. So I need to change to that option every time I launch that emulator.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
