I'm not needing anything specific although I appreciate your concern and reply

It's just the overall lack of releases etc.. almost feels abandoned at times

I quite like Awoo myself, but when I try to install multiple files after a few it will hand on USB so I always go back to Goldleaf because it just works

My points are specific and wondering why this project feels like it's abandoned when it's not

Agree with you on Aweoo and multiple files.

Look like Tinfoil and Goldleaf needs to be rebuild to support 11.0

11.0.0 introduced breaking changes to the usb system module's usb:ds API.
  • Homebrew which uses the usb:ds service should rebuild with the latest libnx version to support running on 11.0.0.

Try trying other installers. Like Awoo installer, DBI, NSA Installer ...

DKP has not updated yet.

When will Goldleaf support NSZ, XCZ and NCZ files? I think it should be a default option for one of the more stable USB-HDD installers. And it's frustrating that my compressed games won't support me.

is this compatible with 11.0.1 ?
not sure ... there is a more recent (official) version of Xortroll on his Discord. Libusbhsfs was implemented (thanks to @DarkMatterCore) with NTFS support for USB / External HDD, leaving aside the need to use KIP.

Unfortunately I can't test it, because my old 750GB seagate HDD just broke

I use Goldleaf as a file manager to copy between units, because as an installer it has null support for XCI / NSZ / NCZ
