Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia becomes SNK´s biggest Shareholder

There are reports that Beat em up developer SNK has been purchased by the Saudi-based Electronic Gaming Development Company (EGDC).
The agreement has been funded by the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is the largest shareholder of EGDC.
The EGDC holds now 33.3% of SNK stock.

Hmm.

I keep an eye on Saudi money in science, education, tech and other things (if you take it then it closes down a great number of doors should people find out) but they so rarely seem to have gone after games before. Then again I suppose it is another type of media and they have a bit of that too.

I thought SNK was bankrupt and in the hands of PLAYMORE.
Like, related news says the prince did it ro increase the cultural attraction of his country... soon to buy 18% more to acquire 51%
