The CRT TV Consipracy Scam/Corporate Greed

These Companies are getting sued for conspiring against Sony and for price fixing their CRT TV's and Monitors making customers over pay for their television sets.

They couldn't compete with Sony and against their top of the line Trinitron Tube sets so they all teamed up to conspired against Sony.

Saw that the other day.

I would sooner see them taken to task for lowering resolutions of LCD panels a few years later (got a nice but actually fairly standard P4 laptop here with a 1050 vertical res panel, could I get a laptop that was higher than 768 a few years later?) but this is OK as well.

This is a blast from the past. Trinitron TVs still have an amazing picture and are great for retro play. It's strange to think this happened so long ago and is now coming to light.

The original complaint was filed 2007 but legal battles is still ongoing.

IMO, Sony tvs were miles above the other models.

Ya, it's from the Apeture Grill, provides excellent picture. Even professional shadow mask monitors from other companies didnt match up to Sony professional trinitron line and they knew it. That's why they conspired against Sony. Sony Dominated the CRT era.

The features were also better, even than modern tvs, like the picture-in-picture and the controller.
