Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - early access launch trailer

It's been a long while since 2012, where Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord was announced. The game has come a long way since its first trailer, and it still has a ways to go, but nearly 8 years later, you can play the game for yourself. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has just released into early access on Steam, where you can get 10% off the game for buying it within the early access launch window, with an additional 10% off if you own a previous entry in the franchise. This version of the game lacks certain features that are scheduled to be added prior to the game's official release, but still offers "all the main staples" that experienced players should be familiar with.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“In terms of content, the early access version of the game contains all of the main staples of the Mount & Blade experience, with a host of content that is new to the series. Players can create their own character using the game’s character creation system; explore the continent of Calradia; gather their own warband of troops; command and fight alongside their troops in large scale battles using the game’s extensive command system and intuitive skill-based directional combat system; raid settlements; lay siege to and capture enemy towns and castles; trade items and goods using the game’s deep economy system; engage in politics and diplomacy; manage their own clan; upgrade and manage settlements; gather armies and wage war; and much, much more... all in a vast singleplayer sandbox setting where no two playthroughs are the same. The early access version also includes fully supported multiplayer game modes for players to test their combat skills and tactical prowess against players from all over the world.”

Can't wait to get my hands on this, been waiting for goddamn ever for it and early access reviews are seeming good so far. Will probably wait a bit, until it's a bit further along in early access, but definitely excited for it

Been keeping an eye on this one, but not sure I wanna jump in right at the beginning of early access. Steam reviews indicate there are definitely more than a few rough edges at the moment.

If you are a great fan of M&B like me, jump in right at the moment. I was waiting for Bannerlord for 6 years! So, I got it on day one. If you are not a great fan of the series, however, you should wait for the full release or at least a couple of months IMO. Great fans like me can unsee some possible bugs or negatives about the game in order to enjoy the game but that may not be the case for casual players.

Has it really been that long? I remember being so goddamn hyped when it was first announced! The devblogs would be something to look forward to whenever they came out, but eventually I just became busy and it sorta fell off my radar.

Feels weird to finally see it semi-finished like that
