Hey guys,

so I updated my Switch after quite some time to Atmosphere 9.3 and also the firmware to 8.1

Everything is working normally (including new games like Pokemon) but BOTW won't load anymore. It keeps getting stuck on the initial loading screen (whole screen black except the Nintendo logo in the top left corner and the Switch logo in the bottom right corner). The only way to get out off the loading screen is powering the Switch off by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

Already tried deleting the game and reinstalling it but that didn't help. Hope someone knows something I could try out to get the game running again. Thanks for all the help and hope you had/are having nice holidays :)

Why are you using Atmosphere 0.9.3? Go download Atmosphere 0.10.1.
Also, i recommend installing the 9.1.0 firmware update.

Cause the same setup is working on my 2 other Switches.

I thought there might be some data corruption or something else going on but if nothing else will work, I will try updating again.

Might be a corrupted save
Saved the game before the update via Checkpoint and loaded the save up on another Switch and everything works fine.
Tried to start the game with different profiles as well and nothing works.

Is there a way to delete every trace of the game from my consoles memory? Might that fix it if I delete all traces and then reinstall it?

Probably try another nsp file or I'm guessing you might have installed a bad dlc ticket in your nand and might be causing the game to freeze. You can try to use tinfoil or lithium to look for it and delete it.

That sounds interesting! How can I look for a bad ticket? Is there a thread where it is explained in more detail? Thanks for the help:)

Hmm.. My card is already formatted as FAT32, sig patches should be fine since everything else is working..
But I heard that a MacBook is sometimes the root of the problem.. Might be the reason why some data got corrupted and the game is not working anymore.
Thanks for the help :)
