been testing hen 2.1 for a bit and i haven't had one issue with it. Goes into rest mode and resumes everytime while also allowing games to be resumed without issue.
There are still a few problems with Hen v2.1.
If you use Mira and enter rest mode with a game running the game will crash when resuming. Also It has been said that there are problems with app2usb but I dont know what these problems are.

The Mira problem is not a big deal and will not effect the average user. You should not be running Mira anyway unless you are doing something that actually requires it and even so, just remember not to use rest mode with a game running if you ran mira first.

As for the App2USB problem I'll have to move a game to usb using app2usb to see what the problem is.

EDIT: The issue with App2USB is: games on an external drive that use app2usb cannot be resumed when using rest mode with Hen v2.1. (Thanks KiiWii for the info:))

I've just done some testing with HEN v2.1 and I can confirm the problems with AppToUSB.

If you enter rest mode with a 'AppToUSB Game' running the system crashes when you resume.
If you use rest mode without a game running AppToUSB games load fine both before and after rest mode.

I also tested rest mode with a game running on an official 'PS4 extended storage' formatted USB drive and that worked fine. So It is just AppToUSB games.

Thanks for the news. But the latest hen is definately better then previous ones now that rest mode is fixed for everything except app2usb games. I'm currently back to Al azif while patiently awaiting xproject update. Thanks for sharing your work.

i look forward for the update too, if the issue is with AppToUSB as stated above then i don't see the harm in updating hen in that case and wait for AppToUSB to be updated

Here is a quick patch to add Hen v2.1 to X-Project.

1. Just overwrite your original X-Project files with these.
2. Go into browser settings on your PS4 and 'Delete Cookies' and 'Clear Website Data'
3. Cache X-Project again. You will now have HEN v2.1

This is just a quick patch until we release the next full version of X-Project.:)

Yep it's working just fine. Make sure to add index.html at the end of the website address

Glad you got it working. :)

X-Project has never cached to userguide, it has always been in the browser. (Unless you used the ESP version)
I have a method using a modified AlAzif self host to cache it in the userguide but it is not 100% perfect. This might be included in the next full release of X-Project if all goes well.

These days People should be using the Browser to launch exploits. The userguide method was only originally used because some people did not have access to the browser app on lower firmware versions.

anyone know if the block updates is gonna be fixed soon?
What do you mean exactly? it's working fine here. If by any chance u mean update blocker extreme then yeah it doesn't work on the cached X-PROJECT however works fine if u live host it via android or pc.

i have tried the update blockers and i had ran a permanent blocker a while ago which worked perfectly but lately its coming up asking me to update whenever i run an app or game

i look forward to seeing that in the future, and i get that people now use the browser but i like the idea of having it separate so i can still have the browser as it is normally but when you next release the esp version i may move back to that if it has that feature rather until i can just cache the live or locally hosted version there.

This means that u have downloaded updates on ur console. It wouldn't install however u shouldn't risk it. Do as follows:
1- Change ur DNS to Al-Azif one's posted on the first page of this awesome tutorial.
2- Run update blocker again using X-PROJECT it should delete ur previous downloaded updates and u will get rid of this annoying message.

This is totally correct.:)

1- AlAzif's DNS addresses will still allow internet access while also blocking sony servers.
2- Run 'Update Disabler' in X-Project and it will delete any downloaded update files and stop them being downloaded in the future.
