Gaming Large (18 GB) xci file not showing in games (SX OS 2.7.1) & latest FW

Hi,

First time this is happening, but XCI version of a game (AC3) is not showing in the SX OS menu (running 2.7.1) and booting from the dongle.
NSW ofw is updated to the latest version.
The file itself is 18 GB. Could this be the cause?
This is a 'superxci' file that should include updates and other stuff.

Check the name of the file.

Where did you get that 18gb xci file? Maybe you should just download the 15gb base version of ac3, then the updates and dlc separately.

rename the III in the filename

Thanks. Renaming the file did the trick. I was unaware that naming was this important. I removed 's and replaced iii with 3.

Like Hayato implied there's probably not a .xci at the end of the name.

There are some characters that the switch cannot recognize

Can't tell you but there aren't this many french trackers... Lots of 'superxci files' there. More convenient than getting the game in xci and applying updates afterwards.
Someday i'll investigate how to create those superxci files myself. There are alos supernsp files as well. I prefer the xcis (no need to uninstall...

People don't need to mention the exact name of the site actually. He could say thw darksite and people here would know what site it is.

Yeah you don't need to mention the exact site, a french site would be fine. Also I'm intrigue and noobish with this superxci thing, is it base, update, and dlc on one xci file?

It's not that difficult to make an xci with update. I even made 1 xci with all 4 nsp episodes of The Walking Dead Final Season.

You use NSC Builder.

Well I rarely use xci anymore and only use the base with nsp updates if I have to but thanks for the info.
