Gaming Attempting and failing to patch Captain Rainbow ISO

I've had Captain Rainbow on my HDD for years but only recently learned that the translation was (more or less) completed. I know I'm a little late on this. When I use the ISO patcher that was released for it, it seems to scroll down fast and hard with error and failure messages.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an idiots guide to patching this? The ISO that is produced after patching is still just in Japanese when I load it back on the Wii.

Hey BogusDogTooth - its NEVER too late for Capt. Rainbow!
I used NTSC ISO image within the patch folder (of October 30th 2017 release), clicked 'PATCH.bat' and it just did its thing on windows 7 x64 - run fine on PAL wii

Bear in mind there are still some 'to do' translation elements, from readme:
ISSUES REMAINING

- Instructions for mini games not translated
- Some Narrator text not translated
- Characters wandering around map, (not mission related), not translated

If you cant get this sorted I will share my patched working ISO and pm you a link externally

Hi fatherjack, I've been having issues getting the patch to work at all due to the MarkAss projects patch.rar file being corrupted/broken. Would you be willing to send me a pm linking to your already patched iso?

edit: I'm new here and have too few posts for a pm - Would it be possible for someone to share the MarkAss Projects english patch file for download? The official link is broken for me.

Having the same problem. Downloaded it last year but can't get the damned thing to patch. It's somewhat playable without a translation if you're willing to side-by-side Youtube but it's not as fun. I'm seconding this request.

Don't ask for warez (you may ask for the patch which doesn't contain copyrighted material). Just DON'T ASK, at least not via gbatemp.
