Last year's Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is set to get additional story DLC in 2019, with the newly revealed "Tale of a Timeless Tome" being the game's third expansion. This DLC will add new battles, characters, and story, with a few references to the first Ni no Kuni game and its characters. Also included in the package is a difficult battle mode called the "Solosseum Slog", which claims that it'll offer the toughest fights in the game, and will reward skilled players with different items based on how quickly they complete it. Bandai Namco did not give a western release date, but the DLC will be available in Japan on March 19th.

The starting point of this adventure is a mysterious appearance in a dream. People staying at the Goldpond Inn claim to be visited by an enigmatic rabbit in their sleep. Upon hearing this rumor, Evan and his friends decide to stay at the hotel to investigate and unveil the mystery. They enter a dream together, step into a strange house and meet the Conductor, a rabbit in a tuxedo and a top hat. To those who played the original game, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, both the house and the Conductor will be familiar. The Conductor’s role in this story, however, remains to be discovered!

I have this on PC, and beat it last year. I found the game to actually be too easy, lol.

Also, this game would work really well on Switch!

I got the prince edition of Ni no kuni 2 on PC and beat the base game last year but I haven't tried any of the newly previous dlcs prior to this upcoming one. I might go back on playing this again at some point.
