You can still purchase a Mod Ready Switch. Just bought one yesterday from Walmart with the serial XAW10073.. Aint gonna lie I had to look thru a few but when I explained to the walmart employee what it was for, she was hella cool and let me find one.

is this SN hackable? this switch is a mario odyssey bundle one and japan region if im not mistaken. yes i did refer to the chart and google spreadsheet but i heard someone say that it can't be hacked so i wanted to double-check and confirm without a shadow of a doubt that it is hackable. before buying it that is.

Im on XAJ700068XXXXX and i injected payload without any problem, i don't know but when i bought NX it was on 1.0.0, i know that doesn't matter cuz the patch is hardware but u know, i think it was the first batch
 
I legit just found (and bought) a switch from Best Buy with a XAW1006... serial. Correct me if I’m wrong, but does that mean it is a 1.0.0 fw switch??
Edit - nevermind, I understand it’s on 4.x, but still hackable, so awesome!

these possible to put a serial number more complete at least the first six digits after XAJ for example in the table that would be more relevant

for exemple it's useless...XAJ7005XXXXXX

The first post of this thread is updated with what is currently known, I assume. So if it says XAJ7005 definitely patched, it means there is no known example of one that is not patched. Else, it would be in the possibly patched category. When in doubt, don't buy and look for a low serial Switch in the "Safe to buy" category.
