I have a stardew valley save that i backed up (in ps vita format it seems) and i'm trying to use it on my pc, is there a tool that decrypts them on pc or is it not usable?
Go to your savedata folder in VitaShell, find your Stardew Valley save, press triangle and choose "Open Decrypted."
Copy the files you want to the root of your memory stick, connect the Vita to your PC, and copy the files over.

you can decrypt your saves on the PC using psvpfstools

you can use the command:

Code:
psvpfsparser -i [input folder] -o [ouput folder] -f http://cma.henkaku.xyz

for example:
md savegames\PCSE01235\SLOT9 (to create output folder)
psvpfsparser -i PCSE01235 -o savegames\PCSE01235\SLOT9 -f http://cma.henkaku.xyz

I try to use it but it responds with "sealedkey does not exist."

If you go into a bit more detail about what your goal is with the savedata, i might be able to help, what exactly are you trying to do with the save?
Also you can make a new savedata and get the sealed key from new savedata and transfer to old savedata.

It was a Stardew valley save that lost it's format (it went from sys to just "file") and i'm trying to convert it to a PC save file as I've heard when decrypted it's literally a PC save. the only form i have it in is the said "file format"

I see so your trying to use your ps vita save on pc? Not sure if that's possible but i have never looked into it, did you do as i suggested and get the sealed key from a new save on your vita and transfer to old save on your pc?

I saw a reddit post on vitahacks so i got the two save file parts. now i'm trying to figure out how to convert them to PC format (aka xml)

Might be easy enough. When you open the data file in VitaShell, does it show text, or ASCII gibberish? If it's text, it could be as simple as copying the data file out of the save folder while in VitaShell, then hooking up the Vita to PC and copy/pasting the text or changing the file extension.
At one point, that's how you could do it with Shovel Knight, anyway.

It's Gibberish alright, seems i may just have to start over and abandon my progress. here's a snip of a block of it, not the full thing.
