That's what I've been doing, and autorcm gets overwritten after updating officially anyways which means I don't have it installed.

Did you not read @_Bison_ ’s posts describing the hack? TSEC has not been owned and Nintendo can conceivably make it much more difficult / impossible to run this sort of hack.
Same here had SX OS since its launch, but Atmosphere definitely won the 6.2 race
why are you spreading fake rumors. Nobody said "impossible" to hack. Guy said "make it harder" but that's just his opinion. Harder could be instead of cracking it in a week it takes a week and a half. lol

your comment is absurd. SX-OS is atmosphere with a skin on it and extra features like xci loading and hdd support. saying atmosphere won vs sx-os is like saying the cheese won over the pizza.

Not ruling out the possibility of a hack. Just ruling in the possibility that in the future a hack may not be feasible. In other words, there are no guarantees. Besides, a guy much more familiar with the hack than you or I also concludes it may become impossible to fool the tsec in the future.
Ok, so these patches that were in the latest SDFiles that specifically go in the atmosphere folder did the trick for me somehow.

Not saying it’s going to absolutely be impossible to hack. Only that it might become impossible. What is clear is that the vulnerability being used is not something that’s unfixable, and that it’ll likely become a cat/mouse game from here.

Man, those security features make it hard to remain on alternate cfw...
so what happens when something tries to go against these features? like, what happens when you install and run pikabricker? does it just not do anything, is there warnings, will it just not install at all?

I'm a little confused that EmuNAND is not part of .8--wasn't that supposed to be the key feature of this release?
Looking at the github, it seems like this feature isn't a priority right now. I wonder if the Atmosphere team has another solution to preventing online bans.
