ROM Hack [GOOD IDEA] Zelda a link to the Past Remake

At first I dont know about the possible ways to make this, bur the engine from A link between worlds and the overworld are a lot of identocal, has someone try to remake the old A Link to the past with a Mod of between worlds?
This is only a Idea ...
(SAME WITH YOSHIS ISLAND and New Island xD)

Very bad idea as Nintendo will put a cabash to it like all other Nintendo IP's

Even if the layout of the worlds and engine is the same, it would be a lot of work to make it. There's so much more than just the engine. The text, animations, story, and everything else

Why on earth should anyone want a remake? SNES pixelart is timless! No need for a remake just use a SNES emulator. Also especialy New Yoshis Island is much more ugly then the first game.

As long as you don't make a product out of it, meaning creating a website for it, advertising it on social platforms, youtube etc, Nintendo won't even notice. If you want to be safe, just keep it in the temp.

not sure why you would really want this. Link between worlds is already an amazing game (best on the system in my opinion). It is definitely feasible, just going to be a bit of a pain to recode the story and reskin lorule to look more like the dark world. Not really sure who would want to play it though. It wouldn't really add anything to link to the past and if anything it would feel kinda wonky playing through link to the past dungeons with an analog stick. Plus, link to the past is available on the eshop and on blargsnes if you want to play it on 3ds

it might be fun to play if it would exist, but from a developers/rom-hackers perspective its not a good idea at all(especially because nintendo would take the project down in no time). and honestly the graphics of alttp still look really good, like the sprites and everything aged pretty well. i literally played through the game last year on my old dusty famicom and really enjoyed it.

if you want to play alttp, play the original, because there wont be a remake any time soon.
