I don't think WiiKey is really trying to rip us off, yes.. they are slow in producing an update. If they really want to rip everyone off including the reseller, they should have just close down the company. Then we will be dead in the water.

As long as the site is up, and resellers are getting constant stream of stock, I still have faith in WiiKey.

I actually ended up getting a WiiKey, and it's not too bad. Yeah, the audio-streaming things sucks but other then that it's awesome.

and I really think they are delaying the patch for one reason.....they are going to release a patch that kills clone chips... and until they can do that, they are not willing to release anything~

There are 2 kinds of people that mod their Wii..

The ones that do it to play games from all regions..

and

The ones that only want to play games from their region..

Lucky for me.. I only want to play games from my region (PAL) sooo.. Wiikey is enough for my heart.. all others must be feeling this "desire" to rip their Wiikey and smash it xD

i bought it because i wanna play Naruto games both GC and Wii (NTSC/J). then i bought a GC console just because that stupid Wiikey could not make Naruto playable on my Wii..

Naruto Shippuuden is for NTSC/J and it is not necessarily better than the GC version (less playable characters compared to GNT 4). My Wii is US version so i thought by buying Wiikey it will allow me to play that Naruto Shippuuden and also the GC version (all of em are NTSC/J).

i think the comp the team who sells the 3rd party models is better they update there site very offen also have claimed to be making thereown software

none the less any 3rd party wiikey made with the good resister 01b written on them will work with official software when & if its ever released

xeno team have made well id say millions out of this chip yet they dont take time to updta site on regular rate

or just pay sum1 to do so

I think WiiKey was kind of get shafted when they realized how easy their chips can be cloned with simple aftermarket PCB and memory chip. Unless they can find something unique about the genuine chip, it is just hard to produce the firmware that could distinguish the real and the fake.
