Guys I know this is pretty old and sorry I'm too lazy to find it but can you tell me how to update to v6.6 because I'm using 2.1 and it says its not supported(my luma is 6.0.1) and I dont have a nand backup sooooooo pls help?

Thank you! i have updated reinand to luma3ds with success!

I have, n3dsxl with menuhax-luma-emunand

Where can I find the installation instructions on the wiki website?
https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-upgrade seems quite confusing to me.

I run an O3DS below firmware 4.5.
I used to run Gateway, but finally want to move onto CFW.
What I get from the wiki is that I should put the arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of my SD card in my 3DS
additionally, I put the Luma3DS.nds file onto the microSD card from my red Gateway card.
I deleted the LAUNCHER.DAT file that belongs to Gateway from my SD card in my 3DS.
When I try to run the system settings exploit I get an error message saying that an error has occurred and that the system will be restarted.

Am I completely missing something?
This approach seems way to easy to be successful.

Hi there. I've used the guide everybody does to install Luma3ds from rxtools but everytime it's suppose to boot into my emunand it just gives me a red screen for about 3 seconds and then just goes black. Does anyone know what to do?

Hello!

My 2DS on 11.1 will not boot Luma, previously I tried to install a modified home menu, it errored out and I had to hard reset, then my 3DS wouldn't boot, so I went to the troubleshooting page, did the loader.cxi and external modules, steps, My 3ds booted, but I tried to install the original home menu. Didn't work, now it wont boot at all.

Any Help?

P.S. I have no NAND Backup :(

Question about system updates,if there is new update and it's okay to update
Why we can't update from the menu?
What the difference between updating from the menu and system settings?

From a9lh you can update however you want. From menuhax/etc. you need to be very careful about the console soft-rebooting before the update starts.

So even on emunand it's safe to update from the menu if i am 100% sure that in emunand, right?

@Aurora Wright the feature to load romfs from SD in one of your newer commits loads just a complete romfs.bin file correct? If it does, what are the chances of getting redirection for individual files in the romfs?
