Iranian Super Sniper turns out to be Medal of Honor footage

Iranian and Saudi Arabian TV has been airing footage of a "Super Sniper" taking out half a dozen ISIS (ISIL) fighters with an "Arash" gun (a firearm local to them). They have dubbed him the Hezbollah sniper and have been touting him as some sort of war hero.

Recently, it came to the public's attention that what they were airing was actually just footage from EA's Medal of Honor, and every trace of it has been pulled from TV and their website, but you can still watch the "footage" on YouTube:

You can hear the clicking of the analog stick though :wtf:. Didn't know real sniper rifles came with analog sticks now, lol.
well, they are using a camera on a screen, you wouldn't hear any clicking...
i would think this was a remote controlled vehicle or something.. why else would you use a camera on a tv\computer monitor?

No wonder why we even have terrorist in those countries..

But this gives me an idea, why not develop turrets and them to Iran and let gamers do the shooting? They are better at it than the countries military anyway.

Iran doesn't host terrorists. America has sanctions in place because they say the Iranian government is sponsoring terrorism outside of Iran.
Your comment wasn't nice.

Also, I wouldn't use YJC ("Young Journalists Club") as an actual source for news, use IRINN or BBC Persian instead.

I'm saddened by the "Iran=Fail" comments and other poisonous garbage on the youtube video comments from a potato quality video and a source that got taken down with no backup screenshot. :(

It doesn't even look that real... I mean, the terrorists have perfect silhouettes, they stand out like a sore thumb.

Woooooow, nice one XD I'm guessing that whoever first reported that no longer has a job

Seems the OP is bullshtting. Do you have anything to support your claim that Saudi and Iranian channels showed the video? The Saudi channel has no reason to show anything about Hizbollah and most of Hizbollah videos are showed directly from Hizbollah in ALMANAR channel so most likely your claim is bullshit.
Yes, in fact you could view the footage on their website: http://www.yjc.ir/fa/news/5501213/شکار-ماهرانه-داعشی-ها-به-دست-تک-تیرانداز-حرفه-ای-مدافع-حرم-فیلم

Before they took it down, that is...

How else will you be able to put your CoD skills combat training to use??? Nothing shows more 1337 skill than a 420 no-scope.

Off-topic: Am I the only one that thinks that "no-scope" appearing in my text recommendation list for Android is sad, considering that the only time I use it is to make fun of CoD?

Perhaps we are the ones being duped and this never actually aired from aired my reliable source over there but the media here is tricking us in there believing whatever it is they want us think happened.

Wow, can't believe anyone could think this is real. The repeated identical cover locations and cover posture are tell-tale signs of video game AI. The lack of camera shake and the smooth cross hair movement show signs of controller input not real gun and camera movement.
