guess I was waiting a little bit more from this game ^^ , but anyway.. it's not that bad..
but I keep being a bit disappointed... from what I expected about it ^^ , many screens and information that used to make this game a bit more relevant o.O .
well anyway it runs well on m3 ^^

Remember, famitsu is not always right. It is just their opinion and I think famitsu is very stupid and ridiculous I have ever seen. It is best if we play it ourselves and score it ourselves. That's simple. I wish famitsu would stop give opinions on every games and let us play and give our own opinions, not them!

I find it wierd. They know what a huge success naruto has been in the states, and their selling all this retarded stuff like keychains & stuff, so why haven't (U) seen any naruto releases that didn't suck as much as "Naruto Clash of Ninja" for GCN?

Famitsu are very strict with their reviews. You are better going on Gamespot or a site like that and having a look at the overall gamer consensus. Do remember that it is 4 people the review a game in Famitsu and 3 out of 4 of them could give it a perfect score and one of them could give it nothing and it would get 30/40. Just remember that Famitsu doesn't know everything, they tend to only like RPG's rather than anything else.

Because Japan is so far ahead of the U.S. in terms of the story. If they skipped all the crappy games and went straight to the good ones, everyone would be baffled as to who everyone was (Itachi, the Sound Five, ect...)

If I'm not mistaken, Clash of Ninja was pretty much Gekitou ninja taisen 1 translated and released in America about the time when version 4 was appearing in Japan.

Problem seems to be that in the west we don't have the tradition of pumping out games in rapid succession* with one game pretty much just being an update of the previous one like they do in Japan. So we're stuck with #1. A release that in Japan was only released to be a fast release for some fast money before the next, slightly better, product started the ascent towards a proper game.

( * See games like the whole power pro kun series of a good 20-30 games about baseball... They change two things and test it on the public again.)

Clash of Ninja 1 WAS Gekitou Ninja Taisen 1. The U.S. also does have the second one, which is a huge improvement.

I don't think the GCN or PS2 is getting anymore of them though.

It's quite short storywise and repetitive. At least it won't take you guys that much to beat the game: about an hour or so.

Graphically speaking 3D games on the DS have yet to improve: just look at the rendering & how pixelate the characters are.
